New web-site for the Amazon Secret

It takes time, when you don't have the time, to set up a new web-site. It takes even more time to write the text, but we think we had a good start when we now finally was able to emigrate to WordPress.

Immidiately the benefits may not be obvious. It takes time to learn something new, but we think, over time it was the right thing to do and now we got a chance to show our models from the Copacabana campaign in June.

The illusion increases the value

As with stocks, company shares, the value often reflects the expected results, but sometimes the value is only an illusion. A well protected secret. Sooner or later, someone may see through the smoke and realize that everything is not what it seemed to be. Usually it's not.

You think you are right, but you are wrong

Someone told me that using women with minimal clothing, ex. bikini, in product marketing will be a disaster, because women would avoid the product. They will think it's discriminating, sexist, or worse, but is it true?

They say the brave die young, but they also say that without courage, you can't win anything. So with courage like a Viking and by some called stupid, we invested 10,000 USD in a photographer and 3 more or less famous Brazilian models on Copacabana.

Then we published this photo on our Facebook page:


Our Facebook page have 55% male followers, and 45% female followers, so more men than women, which obviously is a disadvantage if we want to prove that women don't dislike this type of photos.

When we started looking at the statistics, from more than 100,000 viewers, we thought something had to be wrong, so we found another photo. One where the models had less clothes. This photo:


Our target is consumers from 24 to 35. It's a healthier product with antioxidants and vitamins, and the idea is that most below 24 is not so concerned about vitamins, because they usually think they will live forever and never grow old and the older already have their favorite beverages and are not so likely to change.

So the surprise; even though there are less female Facebook users, in the ages 24 to 35, 3 times as many women, compared to men, clicked like, commented or shared the photos.
